Work has been taking place at Springbank Disitllery recently to bring former warehouses in Glebe Street back into action. The roof at one of the old warehouses at Rieclachan is in the process of being rebuilt and a new private road linking the warehouse with Springbank has been put in place. The pictures show the demolition of the old roof at Rieclachan and the new road.

Springbank Distillers were delighted to sponsor a football tournament with a difference this summer - the Swamp Soccer New World Championships. Held at Strachur here in Argyll, the Swamp Soccer phenomenon has grown into a competition which attracts entries from all over the world. Well-known celebrities Rory McGrath and Paddy McGuinness were in attendance at the event as part of a series they are filming about unusual sports in the UK and they were both presented with a specially-labelled bottle of Springbank 10 year old, as were the captains of the winning teams, Team Rambo in the men's league and De Rode Modderduivels in the mixed league.
